The New Jersey Real Estate Commission requires successful completion of 75 instructional hours for a salesperson and 150 instructional hours for a broker as a prerequisite to admission to the state exam. Therefore, students must attempt to attend every session.   A student must achieve at least an 80% attendance rate in order to be graduated. Arriving more than20 minutes late or leaving more than 20 minutes early will count as a full hour absent. The school has no leave of absence policy. If a student must withdraw from a class after that course has been in session for 10 hours or more, the student may attend, at no cost, any class that commences within 12 months of the start of the original course. The student shall submit a written request to the School Director in advance to attend a subsequent session.

A Certificate of Completion is awarded upon successful completion of the program.

Requirements are:

  • Complete 75 hours for salesperson; 150 hours for broker/salesperson training
  • Achieve at least an 80% overall attendance rate
  • Passing grade on final school examination
  • Financial obligations to school satisfied

Students who have voluntarily withdrawn from the School’s program prior to its completion or who were terminated from the School’s program due to unsatisfactory or academic progress may reapply to be accepted into the program at any time. Credit will be granted for attendance provided re-enrollment occurs within a twelve month time frame of the first day of the course the student originally attended. If re-enrollment occurs after twelve months have passed, then the student must enroll for and attend the complete program.

All monies paid by the student will be fully refunded if the student chooses not to enroll in or to withdraw from the school within 7 calendar days prior to the start of first class. The school will require written notice 7 calendar days prior to the start of the first class for a tuition refund.

If a student discovers during the first 10 hours of the course after reviewing the screening questions that the student would have to withdraw from the course, a full refund minus the $50 registration fee will apply. After 10 hours of class time, a 50% refund will apply.

If the school closes, cancels or discontinues a course or program, the school will refund to each currently enrolled student all monies paid by the student for tuition.
