It is the Code of Ethics that sets REALTORS® apart from other real estate licensees.
While the Code of Ethics establishes obligations that may be higher than those mandated by law, in any instance where the Code of Ethics and the law are in conflict, the obligations of law must take precedence. The Ocean County Board of REALTORS® is the authority to enforce this code with members of the Association. Members of the public may familiarize themselves with the Code and procedures through these links.
